We’re Stronger Together
Why your support matters
Existing inequitable systems cause chronic stress that directly affects the mental and physical health of Latine parents in Central Texas. This leads to poor birth outcomes, worsening maternal health, and physical and mental health problems in children, to name a few.
When you support ALAS, you’re supporting an organization that was born out of the community directly affected by these issues. We understand the needs of our community and the nuances of being a parent in this complicated environment.
We know that all we really have is each other, and protecting and empowering our community is what ultimately connects us to our humanity.
